In my country, the day after Easter is celebrated, so my parents' friends were throwing a barbecue, and invited my parents. My siblings (17F and 11M) were perfectly fine with going, since the friends' kids like them, but they don't like me since I(14F) am a girl and they're all guys, plus all older or younger than me. Plus, I have social anxiety, the kind where my palms sweat whenever I have to talk to someone new, so obvi I didn't want to go to this barbecue, plus I had zero energy. My parents, however, didn't like that, and we had a huge fight. I ended up telling them I had social anxiety. Big mistake. They argued about how fake I was being, and my sister (who wants to be a psychology major) jumped in and started saying I was faking and compared my SOCIAL anxiety to her friend's ANXIETY, like the panic attack kind.

We ended up having a big argument, and I insisted on staying home because I'm not wasting five hours in a dress and shoes at other people's house, and my mom hid everything I could use in her room. The cable of the TV, PlayStation controllers, laptops, everything. She locked my phone with Parental Controls so I can only call, and then they left.

It was fine, I was in a house full of books so I entertained myself pretty well, and I even called up my friend and we chatted for a while. Then when my family gets home, my mom drops the bomb on me: I'm grounded for a month.

Now, this is a problem because I've got three three-day weekends coming up and my 15th birthday in two weeks, and me and my best friend have been planning to go to Kidzania this weekend for ages while I was still 14. Obviously if I knew I'd get grounded I would've sucked it up and gone, but I didn't and now I'm stuck. My mom keeps insisting I have to apologize, and she said she won't revoke the punishment if her late father crawled out of his grave.

I really don't know what to do here because my mom is really stubborn and won't budge, and my dad refuses to even get involved. I know my friends want to treat me to something for my birthday but now I can't go anywhere. What do I even do?
