I'm 27 and work as an adult model—a career I've chosen because it empowers me and pays well. My family is very conservative, so I kept it private for years. Recently, a close family member accidentally discovered my work through social media. They were visibly upset, claiming that my career "disrespects our family name" and that I should be ashamed. I calmly explained that I’m proud of what I do and that it's a legitimate profession, but they haven't let it go, and now other relatives are starting to distance themselves.
