AITA I male sixteen just got a job and my dad says he wants me to pay for some bills .some backstory is that my family isnt poor but were not well off either. my dad told me that once i get a job i will start paying for my wifi usage and my room. i told him ill think about it but i dont feel comfortable with that. i just got my first paycheck and hes telling me i need to pay half of my paycheck to him for the reasons listed above. i told him that he's my dad and he needs to support me not the other way around. so i refused he told me that hes been there for me through everything and the family needs help. he also tried using my scuicide attempts as levarage saying that if he didnt find me i would be dead so i owe him i told him he is bieng manipulative and cruel and then went to my room. he's now mad at me and saying that i need to pay for my own clothes and groicies (which i already planned on doing) but he said that he wont provide for me if i dont help out. and now my older brother (who also had to help pay bills) is sayng im an a-hole because he also helped out and im abandoning my family for not supporting them. so now i feel like i am letting my dad and siblings down with not helping AITA
