I used to be extremely proud of my daughter. She was the best child I could ask for. She was polite and respectful. She went to medical school and was dating an extremely nice young man.

Then out of nowhere less than a year ago she chose to ruin her life. She broke up with her boyfriend and started dating a man who is 20 years older than her. She dropped out of college and decided to choose a low paying job. She got pregnant so quickly and eloped without telling us.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I confronted her and told her that I will not ever support her decisions. She ruined her own life and she is gonna regret it one day and that day I will not help her.

She started screaming at me saying she never wanted to become a doctor anyway and she was miserable and we "forced" her which is not true. She wanted to be a doctor since she was 4 years old. She said she hated her last boyfriend because he was poor and she is "so fucking tired of poor men" which hurt so deeply. I know I couldn't afford to give her a comfortable life but I tried my best.

I decided to leave before she could disrespect me anymore.

She called me later and tried to "explain" herself by saying that she just wants to be happy and her new life makes her happy. I told her OK but I'm still not supporting you. She called me an asshole and hung up the phone.
