📝 AITA for not wanting my fiancée’s parents at our wedding because of how they treat me

I’m 29M and my fiancée is 27F we’ve been together 4 years engaged for about 9 months and planning the wedding now

Here’s the issue her parents have never liked me I’m not dramatic or anything but it’s been obvious since day one they’re cold dismissive and throw subtle jabs every time we’re around them

I work in IT I didn’t go to some big-name college but I do well for myself and I take care of their daughter but it’s like none of that matters to them

A few months ago we were at this family dinner and her dad joked in front of everyone about how “hopefully this marriage lasts longer than his last job” I left my last job voluntarily for a better one and I make more now but that’s not the point

Then her mom made some weird joke about me being a “starter husband” again right in front of everyone

I felt humiliated I didn’t say anything then but I told my fiancée afterward that I really don’t want them at our wedding if they’re going to keep treating me like crap

She says they’re just awkward and don’t mean anything by it and that it’s unfair of me to not invite her own parents to our wedding

We’ve gone back and forth on this a few times and now it’s kind of become a big issue She thinks I’m being too sensitive I think I’m setting a boundary

So AITA for saying I don’t want her parents there
