📝 AITA for not wanting to hear my parents drama anymore

For context my parents have been divorced since I was 7 and I will be 29 next month…Today is my grandfather’s heavenly birthday and I decided to take my grandma out for lunch and invited both of my parents (he is still close with my mom’s side) and all was well until the end where my mom was asking my dad’s opinion on some home renovations we want to do. This is where it goes all the way south. They start bickering, pointing fingers, the whole nine and all the while i’m so confused how it escalated so far. I got up and walked out because I was so disgusted by their actions in a public restaurant of all places. In the car my mom was going OFF talking about what my dad promised her and how she will never get paid back for what my dad owes her (a loan that was taken out to pay for my brother and my higher education and other repayments-totally valid) and I had just about had it with the whole situation. I told her that I don’t care anymore, if it has to do with them they need to keep us out of it. I’ve been the middle-man and the in between for those two for over 20 years and it’s had effects on my mental health for years so much so I’ve been to countless therapists over the years and i’m over it. The sucky part is that I see both sides but God forbid I ever agree with my dad or all hell will break loose… Am I in the wrong for finally saying enough is enough?
