This morning I’m on call with national grid while my boyfriend lays in bed scrolling on his phone. He then hears his mom get up to start washing dishes. (Yes I live with them and pay rent) he then demands that I go wash the dishes so that his mom doesn’t “bitch” at him. Mind you none of the dishes in the sink are mine or his, it’s his siblings cups and plates. (Everyone is responsible for washing their own stuff they use) I say to him are you kidding me? Why are you suddenly demanding me to go wash dishes that I didn’t make when I always do. I’m on the phone doing something important and he had all the time to do this instead of scrolling on his phone if he didn’t want his mom to wash dishes. It ended up in a huge fight where I left the house. am I the asshole?
