I (20F) went to the pool and posted pictures of myself in my bikini on instagram. They were a little revealing but nothing too too crazy, no full butt cheeks or boobs busting out the seams. Somehow they got to my mom and she called me hysterically crying asking why I’m doing this to her and why I’m posting things like that. I don’t have her on social media someone showed her. She sent me messages calling me a disappointment, saying she failed at raising me and that I’m making her life miserable because of the photos I’m posting and my body piercings. My brother (18M) also won’t talk to me now. Did I really fuck up that bad.. the photos were pretty tame compared to what other girls post. My private parts were not really showing. I also don’t have my brother on social media either so not sure how he saw.

Also important factor: my mom is strict Muslim.
