Not sharing ages in this story! So, I (F) have a friend (F), who has a boyfriend. We have all been friends for a while, and they have been dating for maybe 6 months. It's generally been a good relationship. As of the last 2-3 months, though, my friend has been getting VERY close with one of our other friends. In fact, this friend is probably the boyfriend's best friend.
So, things have been a bit rocky lately, as boyfriend has expressed discomfort about this, and they have gotten upset, and even ignored each other at some points. There have been times the boyfriend has texted me to ask if she's okay, and most of those times, she's hanging out with this other friend.
These two "friends" have started dancing together, linking arms, constantly initiating some type of physical contact. They USUALLY quit it whenever the boyfriend is around, but he seems some of it. These friends usually see each other more than they see the boyfriend. Today, all 3 of us, along with some others, were hanging out. I was behind them, and they were getting pretty damn touchy. Me, being the person I am, took multiple photos throughout the hangout. Them being face-to-face, inches apart, and being SQUEEZED together.
So, you may wonder why I did that, and you might consider it as meddling; That could be right, but as I mentioned above, both of them have come to me multiple times as a sort of "mediator" for this issue (as much as I dislike it lol), and the boyfriend is clearly very upset about this. This is getting to the point where all 3 of them will be together, and the two friends will spend the majority of the time together, even when they RARELY get to see the boyfriend.
I felt like it was rational enough for me to take a few pictures of this. I haven't shown them to anybody else, not even the boyfriend yet. AITA for this?
