Ok so I has a yellow duck car ornament on my dash that has a cowboy hat and sunglasses on my dashboard in my car and a hanging ornament with a Bible quote and my boss told me to remove it because I’m a reflection of his company(I work at a doctors office)and also told me that it’s silly looking and unprofessional and that I can only have it showing on my days off. Employees park on the side of the office and patients park in the front but from where the patients park you can see employees vehicles. The yellow duck ornament is about the size of my fist. I don’t see the problem with it. I am very professional when it comes to my job. He also told me that I cannot have anything religious showing(which would only be the Bible quote in my car)due to it possibly rubbing patients the wrong way and possibly projecting my religion onto them. I told him I would not do that since it doesn’t interject my ability to do my job. I never talk about religion while at work. I keep things very professionally. Ever since then my boss has made my job a living hell.

EDIT** I forgot to mention he just fired his receptionist and billing person so I’m having to work up patients, manage billing and receptionist all day every day and recent he has cut my check short by $40-$50
