Me F(21) M(23) have been together for a year going on two. We are currently living together and have a roommate (my friend). Couple days ago his brother came over for the weekend (from the military) and they went out while out I out a notification from my bank for amount $80 from a gun store (he used my card) he sent the money back to me but I was curious as to why he went to the gun store.

I waited till they got back and I asked him if he got a gun or what he got from there and his response was they went shooting. I took his word and forgot about it. Now today he got done with work early and apparently went to the gun store again this time he called me saying he sent me $290 to my bank and if I can send it back to him on Apple Pay that he trying to pay for something so l asked him what are you getting? He said "oh it's my money I don't have to tell you what I am using or buying with" I said ohhh I see I didn't want to argue so I just sent it.

At this point i didn't know he was at the gun store. He called me again saying he sent $84 can I send back on Apple Pay which I did n hang up. He called me again this time he was in his car so ask him, what did you buy and he said "I got a gun" when I heard that my whole body got cold because I'm really scared of guns. I then told him why you went and got a gun without telling me? He said "I don't have to tell you it's my money I get what I want and I got it for my safety" I was like we live together you have to communicate something that serious to me. You not only lie to me about when I first asked you, you're acting like you don't care about my feelings or opinions. He kept trying to gaslight me so I told him I will talk to him later n hang up.

He's now home, I told him I don’t feel comfortable with a gun being in our room. He not talking to me!!

What should I do? I don't feel comfortable with having a gun in our room.
