I, [29 F] am married to my amazing husband. I like his whole family, except for my MIL. She's such a drama queen and always been there for her son, but not me. Ever since I married him she's been making rude comments about my body, for example she says "Oh taking another plate, are you honey?" And I had an eating disorder but my husband helped me get over it. Hearing that comment hit harder than it was supposed to. I told my husband about the issue and he told me to ignore it, and I would be okay. The next time we had a family dinner hoop

The more she comments on it, he worse my self image gets. Some days I feel like a fat pig or sometimes I feel like an ugly little duck. The next time we had a family dinner she still commented. This time I was tired of it and I told her to f**k off. The whole table went dead silent as my husband rushed me into the car before I criticized her. He told me that I was overreacting and I shouldn't have said that, but she crossed the line. I feel like my husband is just supporting her because he doesn't want to get in trouble. I though he was the one. But he proved me wrong. What do I do?
