📝 AITA for thinking my parents are hypocrites?

This is super different from my last post, where confirmed I was a major asshole, but I also need to ask for advice on this. I'm sorry if I anger anyone with this as well.

My parents are both republicans. They do not support transgender people, which makes me uncomfortable because a lot of my friends are trans and so I feel like I can't introduce them. One time I overheard a republican podcast (Megyn Kelly Show) that my dad listens to. I'm not fond of it at all, the main woman hardly talks positively unless it's about Trump being a savior or something.

When my parents snooped at my Insta and saw a story I made about it, they started arguing with me about it. I told them I simply disagreed with their opinions, to which my Dad said "it's not my opinion, it's FACT." I was bothered by this, especially when a while after he complained that democrats never listened to republicans and were always shoving their ideals down their throats.

On top of this, my step mother told me that I was part of what is wrong with the world. I know she was referring to it politically, which I shouldn't even be big in since I'm 17, but with my severe anxiety her saying that extends to all scenarios. Given my other recent post on this subreddit, I'm convinced she has a point, and that maybe it would be really better if I just got rid of that problem. Am I the one in the wrong?
