My (23F) and my best friend (24F) have daughters the same age (17months) and we love to dress them up in matching outfits because it’s adorable. While my friend and I were out shopping the other day I found a set of 2 hair bows that were on sale and when we go to check out she asks me why I was buying them. I said: to put in the girls’ hair obviously! She said: I don’t want them in my child’s hair. When I asked why she just said really annoyed:I don’t have to give you an answer! And she said that every time I asked. And when I tried to guess and asked if she was afraid they would hurt the child, she just stormed out of the store and called her husband to complain about me. Am I the asshole for wanting to know why I can’t put a bow in her daughter’s hair?
