Hi, I 23F picked up a dog for foster care yesterday. She is a 2 month Australian Shepard doodle puppy. She is SO SWEET and so quiet/timid. However, she shits EVERYWHERE and the smell is rancid. She also pees everywhere. I have taken her outside to go to the bathroom about 15 times and only ONCE did she go to the bathroom, which I POSITIVELY reinforced and when she went inside I negatively reinforced. When I take her out, I wait about 20 minutes before coming back in. I have to work in the mornings and getting up at 3 am to clean dog shit off the floor and the crate and do laundry and bathe her is not ideal. I didn’t realize how hard this would be. Any advice or should I give up?
