I 25M and my now ex Gf 26F, broke up recently because she needs to go through trauma therapy to heal from some childhood trauma, which I recently triggered (not intentionally obviously). The thing is, we are not only partners, we are best friends, we deeply love each other and breaking up isn't really what we want, but the trauma therapist said she should be alone while she does this therapy (because I triggered it) She didn't exactly say we should break up but I feel like it was implied. As a result she's trying to move out and we've broken up. I told her if she wants to reach out and try to rekindle things once this therapy is complete that I want her to. AITA?

More info: we are both very nice to each other still, we talk a bit when we are home, cry a bit, but also trying to give each other a lot of space.
