Me(40f) and my friend (40m), have been talking for about 3ish years. Let me add some details. He’s a sports journalist, he’s got his own podcast company and also broadcasts through Roku, instagram and YouTube. He recently told me that he loved me and wanted to leave his wife and kids for me. I thought he was joking or just drunk. He’s never told me that before. The whole night we were texting his demeanor was sweet, cute and caring. The next day when I try talking to him about the night before, his demeanor is mean, rude and cold. The night he confessed his feelings was the 20th of February. It’s now the beginning of April and we don’t talk anymore because he’s been so cold and given me the cold shoulder. He gaslighted me into thinking that I was the problem, saying that how rude of me to try to talk to him while he had visited his best friend’s funeral because he killed himself. How rude of me to try to talk to him, when this this or that happens but he doesn’t think to communicate with me what’s going on. He used to. But he doesn’t talk to me anymore. He told me that he doesn’t have fb messenger anymore. I disclosed my phone number to him, and said he could text me anytime he wants to. He doesn’t. I’ve now cut him out of my life because I just think I was a coping mechanism for him. So I guess I’m asking if I’mTAH for trying to communicate with him after he unloaded so much information to me?
