📝 AITA for wearing a bold jumpsuit that my friend's boyfriend couldn't stop eyeing?

I (22F) last Saturday I went to a laid-back BBQ at my friend's house It was a casual thing some food music and hanging out with a small group including a few people I hadn't caught up with in ages. I decided to wear this new jumpsuit I'd picked up. It was form fitting had a deep neckline and honestly I felt super confident in it. I don't usually go all out with my outfits, so It was nice to dress up a bit and feel good. I wasn't trying to make a statement or anything I just wanted to vibe.

Everything was fine at first, but I started noticing my friend's boyfriend glancing my way a lot. Like, if I was grabbing a drink from the cooler or chatting with someone, I'd catch him staring. It wasn't subtle, and I'm pretty sure another friend picked up on it too. At one point, he made a comment to one of the guys, something like, didn't know we were dressing up for this. I just smiled awkwardly and tried to keep my distance for the rest of the night.

The next morning, I got a long text from my friend. She said she was uncomfortable with my outfit and felt it was disrespectful to wear something so eye catching around her boyfriend. She thought I was trying to pull focus and said I should've thought about how it'd make others feel. She's expecting an apology.

I texted back and said I wasn't flirting or acting out of line. Her boyfriend's looks weren't my doing, and they actually made me feel kind of uneasy. She's not hearing it, though, and still thinks I messed up. A few mutual friends said I could've picked something less bold to keep things drama free, but others think she's overreacting, maybe even feeling insecure about her relationship.

So AITA?
