Hi everyone, I love AITA and my husband and I have had quite a few arguments about this so he asked me to post.

We live in Florida and I make an effort to try to dress modestly, but I like to wear thongs under my clothes. I wear more loose fitting clothing as I feel it’s more comfortable. When I walk or get up out of the car, sometimes the dress bunches up a little around the underwear and you can see the outline of the thong. My husband calls attention to it when it happens and asks me to buy nicer clothes that don’t bunch up like this to show the shape of my underwear.

I feel like he is being unreasonable because I have no bad intentions when I am wearing my clothes and also I don’t feel like it’s a huge deal because everyone wears underwear. I also feel like you have to stare to even notice the bunching around the underwear but he disagrees. He feels like it’s disrespectful to show off that I’m wearing a thong. He insists that buying higher quality clothing will get rid of this issue, but I don’t always want to be dressing nice to go to doctors appointments, the grocery store, and places like that.
