I met this girl at my job a while back and we have been fooling around for about a month now.
I really like this girl alot, and she has told me in the past that her past partners haven’t “been nice to her”, i try my best to be a a safe space for her, and i truly take her feelings into account.
Ive talked to my therapist about relationships and i would say overall im a very reassuring person with good communication skills.
However, i can get a little carried away in the bedroom, and i am into degrading, but outside of sex i do the most to ensure my partner is listened to, cared for and treated the best way possible, especially knowing her past partners haven’t even done half of what I have so far.
Anyways, we aren’t anything official, she dosent want to have something monogamous and im cool with that.
so lets get to what happened, we were mid f-ing and im verbally degrading her a bit, and I guess i said the wrong thing and she started crying. At first I truly thought she was just joking, but she got up and had to compose herself and I was kinda taken aback for a moment.
So, i let her calm down and decompress, and we sat with eachother and talked about it, and im really glad we did, i also shot her a text when I got home that night apologizing and telling her how i want her to feel safe and she was very appreciative I took the time to listen to her feelings.
So, all in all, im just trying to get opinions, like, is this just because how she was treated in the past? It definitely took me aback, I’ve never had a girl cry in bed before, and for context she also hasn’t really had much sexual experiences especially with degrading, bdsm etc…
Oh and for context, we are both female
