For context let's start out with the point that tomorrow I have entrance exams to a top 1 school in my country and I've been preparing for MONTHS, recently, this week I've stayed home to prepare for these exams finally. Another point, let's go back to a few weeks before today, my mother took on a student to teach them privately and I'd get the pay of the lesson for cleaning the house every Friday, luke deep cleaning it alone, and I thought it was pretty fair, since I am a teen and don't have as much job opportunities because I live in the countryside. For the past few weeks everything was alright, I kept the house clean while studying and preparing, but coming to today, today I didn't have time to clean since I had been studying since the morning, 11 am sharp, (right now it's nearly 7pm.) and I'm stressed out and worse because this is a huge milestone in my life, like I HAVE to get into that school, but coming back to what I want to say is, that my mother started crashing out "why didn't you clean?" and I though it was obvious that I was studying, when she asked to give her the money I refused since I don't get the money ONLY for cleaning, but also for being top 3 in my vlass and school and yk, good studies + allowence, and then she called me a thief, even though I did try to help her with cleaning, I cleaned the bathroom and two bedrooms before she yelled at me again, so tell me am I the asshole for standing my ground (main part) and refusing to give back the money?
