am i (15F) the asshole for almost calling my stepdad (65M) my biological dad? i personally hate my dad and never had a good history with him. i moved from utah to oregon and now live with my stepdad. my stepdad is really into having a VERY clean household, i had moved in about a year and a half ago because my bio dad was going insane. and just recently i realized the my stepdad was acting more like my dad. Fishing for compliments, yelling at me, blaming me, and butting into conversations just like how my father would. Just yesterday and today, I got told to clean my room, so I did just that. But it appears to me that I didn't do it just the way they wanted me to. So, my stepdad and mom started acting like I was just horrible at doing things even though they know I'm having problems right now. Today as I was working on a project with a friend and my mom came up to me and said "give me your phone." and as a normal person would do, I asked why. She said "your rooms a mess" so I gave her my phone and cleaned both my room and my bathroom from top to bottom. So both me and my sister are taking it as, "he will never be satisfied with what i do." Am I the asshole?
