Hi Everyone,

Wondering if IATAH here. I 35F and my partner 38M have been verbally fighting alot lately. The last fight though, he really upset me. I went outside and for the first time in my life I got the urge to be physically violent. I punched a wall. A few minutes later he came and tried to hug me. I told him to let me go repeatedly and he refused so I start hitting him. Eventually he did let go and I immediately stopped.

I'm not sure if it matters what the fight was about because in my mind physical violence is never ok.

Now I am thinking I've turned the relationship into more of a DV relationship where I am the one doing the violence.
