For some backstory, I've been trying for 6 months to beef up my resume so I can work over the summer to afford a Talaria XXX. Recently, my friend claimed to have gotten scammed. He told me and a few other friends to talk to the scammer, and we tried to get the money back. Eventually, my dad found the chats, and was so mad at me, he said even if I had the money to buy the bike, he still would not until I finished high school, (I'm 13). This morning, my friend sent me a photo of his bike, (the one he said was never received) and he was just joking. I lost all that I've been working for. For 6 months I have been trying to get this bike, and was planning to work through the summer. All. Gone. Over a lie. I proceeded to yell at him and told him to fuck off and not to talk to me instead. Was this a reasonable crashout?
