When I meet new people I'm usually open about this most of the time and tell people I have Prosopagnosia aka face blindness. With this person we didn't talk or enough for it to come out. So on this dating app I contact people that I like and apparently I contacted the same person twice but on a different app. At first she pointed it out almost immediately that we talked before and I apologized and said "I have faced blindness". She says "you're clearly not blind because you saw my picture" I said no I'm faceblind that means I can't recognize people. She proceeds to tell me that's not real and I made that up. I'm a little annoyed at this point but im like you can look it up yourself but here's a screenshot of the condition on google. Then out of the blue she trys to tell me "you don't have that you're just racist and you think all black people look alike." I said TF!? WE'RE BOTH BLACK! HOW DOES THAT WORK!? Realizing she couldn't go with that angle She keeps insisting that if I have face blindness I need to prove it in my medical chart otherwise I'm a racist. I say that I'm not sharing personal information ( And I'm pretty sure it wouldn't say that I was face blind because It's something my Doctor told me when I was a kid and has little relevance to my health). I even telling her I can't just not recognize black people I can't recognize anyone that includes my own face. I can't even point my family out in public most of the time. I have to use every bit of detail about them from scars, teeth, hair, voices body language and so on to have a normal life And she just won't let it go. I tell her shes not the first person I've I stopped more than once. I've asked out the same woman 3 times and didn't notice it was the same person until I started recognizing the dog she was walking. Trying to say that I'm racist because I can't recognize people is like trying to say Someone Is racist because they're colorblind.

Honestly I lost all interest in this person after 5 minutes and I only argued the subject because my character was in question over the absurdity but eventually I just called her a f***ing idiot and put the phone down after a while. she keeps trying to egg me on with the conversation after that. I'll probably block her before the end of the night but AITAH for losing my cool with her?
