Hello, first of all I would like to say that English is not my first language so if there are any mistakes I am sorry. So from the beginning I just want to say that I don't know much except that my mom knows this woman and she had a cat but unfortunately developed a cat allergy. So she had to give the cat away and she asked us (my family and I) if we wanted the cat. My dad doesn't want pets, but because of my mom he said yes anyway. I thought the same and on Friday we got the cat. Everything was fine at first. She played and ate her food, but she didn't really like my father and my older sister. The next day she bit and scratched my dad. At this point, my dad really hated the cat and wanted to get rid of it. We tried to talk to him and told him she needed time. The next day was the last straw and that's when we realized something. My sister had been having burning eyes and a runny nose since Friday. The thing is, my mom and sister picked up the cat on Friday and my sister has been having problems with her nose and eyes since she picked her up from her owner. We thought it might be a pollen allergy, but she said that this time everything was burning. At that point, I told my mom to call the owner and tell her to please pick up her cat. My mother did so. And just 30 minutes later, here she was. But there was one thing that bothered me and that was when she asked me and my mom what the problem was and we told her that maybe my sister was allergic and that my dad hated the cat. She still didn't get our point, which makes me mad because you have a cat allergy and you know my sister might have one. Why is it a problem that we want to give the cat away because of this? I don't know, can anyone give me some advice. Am I just worrying too much?
