📝 AITAH for airing out my boyfriend’s baby mama drama in front of his whole fam at Easter brunch?

So boom. I (28F) have been dating “Jake” (30M) for about 2 years now. Things were solid until his ex “Sara” (29F) slid back into the picture like it was nothing. She and Jake dated forever ago, broke up after she cheated, then popped out a baby like 6 months later talkin’ about “It’s yours.”

Jake, being way too chill for his own good, never asked for a paternity test. He just took her word for it and tried to step up. Mind you, they were broken up when she got pregnant. But whatever.

His mom? Oh she ATE that sh*t up. Started calling the baby her “first grandbaby,” making scrapbooks, buying matching outfits, the whole nine. Meanwhile I’m sitting there like… y’all sure about this?

So I finally convinced Jake to get a DNA test. Results came back: 0.0%. Not his. Like, not even close.

Cool, right? WRONG. This man decides not to tell anyone. Said he “doesn’t want to cause drama” and “his mom’s already attached.” Bro what???

Fast forward to Easter brunch. His mom’s goin’ on about how we should take the baby to Disney and I just snapped. I go, “Y’all know that’s not even Jake’s kid, right?”

Dead. Silence. Everyone froze. His mom looked like she got hit by a truck. Jake’s jaw was on the floor.

Now he’s mad at me for “blowing up the family” and “being messy.” Like sir, your whole fam been living in a Hallmark movie that’s not even real. I just gave y’all the trailer to the actual plot.

So… AITAH for not playing along with this fake-ass baby daddy storyline?
