So I casy 18 F ( not real name or age for privacy) have been friends with Lucy 18 F from the third grade everything was fine up until 8 months ago when I’ve received a phone call from a unknown girl claiming to be my exes sister ( I come from a respected religious family) which got me shocked because no one really has my phone number and my parents got mad and went to the police about it ( because in my country dating is not allowed and if someone tries to prank call or do something that ruins your reputation online you can file a lawsuit) so my parents tried to file a complaint but with the lack of evidence they couldn’t and by all of this time my friend stood by me knowing how affected I felt and helped my to try to track down the girl and I felt so greatfull that I had her as my friend in untill today when I was going to sleep I got a call from an unknown number and I let my mom answer it just in case someone tried to pull a prank on me but when my mom answered a teenage girl picked up and said quote “mom why did you leave me I’m scared” my mom thinking that it’s a lost girl trying to contact her mom and said “ I’m sorry but you have the wrong number then the girl said “no no this is my mom” which my mom said I’m sorry but you have the wrong number and she girl tearfully said okay and ended the call but my mom still felt sorry for the girl and she wanted to see if the girl is okay so she called the girl again but from her phone number but the girl ended it as soon as she hear my moms voice and my mom got confused as to why the girl suddenly closed the call but then I got a text from Lucy saying that it was a prank and that it was her friend that called from her phone number I felt crushed not because she pranked called me but the fact that she gave a random person my personal number ( my parents are strict and I don’t feel comfortable with people knowing my personal number unless it’s someone close) and my friend knew that but did it anyways and not even caring on what I felt so I told my mom and my mom was also crushed because my mom actually thought the girl was lost and she was praying for her and crying that she hoped that she was okay I told her that she took it to far and she replied that it was a joke and not to take it seriously but I felt disappointed because this is not the first time she hurts me and breaks my trust without caring what I felt (she has talked shit about me showed others out private conversation and her excuses was “ I didn’t know that you would feel this was knowing the trauma that I had from an toxic friend yet she didn’t care about my feelings) and I was really hurt that she would do something knowing that I would feel sad but she doesn’t care about my feelings and she does what she wants I felt hurt not because she made my mom upset and crying not because she’s giving out MY personal information to random strangers it’s because she knew that i would be hurt but yet she used me for her entertainment and I don’t know what to do or say anymore I’m disappointed.
