📝 AITAH for asking a woman to take her water bottle off a chair at the plasma donation centre so I could sit down.

I give plasma twice a week.

The donation centre is a little odd as the initial waiting area is around a corner from the receptionists.

The routine is you check in online when you walk in the building then sit in the initial waiting area. Depending on the day it is anywhere from two minutes to 20 minutes from when you check in online to when the receptionist calls you.

There are two seats right up front with two rows behind them. Then there are two more rows of seats perpendicular to the original set of seats. They keep a tv on in the waiting area by the perpendicular seats.

I always bring a book to read because I never know how long it is going to be before the receptionist calls me.

Between the perpendicular seats being partially blocked from the receptionists by a wall, the TV and getting lost in my reading I sometimes don't hear the receptionists if I am in one of the back rows, especially if the receptionist isn't particularly loud.

I gave plasma over the weekend and the waiting area was a little busier than normal. I checked in and with the exception of two seats tucked around the corner by the TV there were two empty chairs that people put their stuff on beside them while they sat.

I asked the woman sitting at the front if she could move her water bottle so I could sit down as it can be tough for me to hear the receptionist. She got a really pissy look on her face and said "Fine I'll move." She took her stuff and moved. I didn't ask her to move and I don't smell or anything so I'm not sure why she felt the need to move.

When we were donating plasma she had to quit donating because she said she hadn't eaten. I wonder if her irritation was due to her being hangry.

Was it TAH for asking her to move her stuff off a seat so I could sit down?
