So I and my Girlfriend have been together for 3 years. Everything was going smooth till my Girlfriend announced out of the Blue that she was pregnant with my Baby. We always used protection (I know those aren't perfect) so the chance of an accidental pregnancy is quite low.

So the Baby is born but he has red hair which is a recessive gentic trait so the baby must have inherited it from both his parents. My girlfriend is white so it's quite possible that she has red hair genes but I'm Indian so the probability of me having red hair genes is infinitesimally small. So I told my GF about my concerns and she laughed it off saying that his hair will darken as he grows older but as I kept insisting she had a meltdown claiming that I am a vile person to even think about it. Well I'm still planning to go forward since it's better to sort such stuff now rather a few years down the road.

So am I being unreasonable with my demands.
