📝 AITAH For asking my coworker for help??

Okay, i'll try to make this fast, and i already know the answer is no i'm not the a55hole, but i just want yall to hear this bvllsh1t i had to deal with, and give me yall's opinions aswell.

So theres this kid, i'll call him Corey. Corey is lazy, always on his phone, goes to the bathroom for 10-15 minutes at a time, and refuses to do anything when someone tells him to, he doesn't even listen to the night manager, (I'll call her Daphne for this.).
Also, I was never directly rude in my initial asking for help, I already know to approach with kindness and gentleness.

So i come in, i start doing the prep stuff, (which realistically should have been what he was doing, as the way we work, the first person to come in is the one to do prep, but I digress.) our Schedule goes as:
3. Corey | 3:30 Comp.Smoke (me) | 6 Alice

I'm not feeling good, and i let him know right off the back, kindly and gently. He doesn't respond or acknowledge what i said, but oh well.

please also keep in mind, that there's no napkins, so he can't roll silverware, meaning he's just pacing back and forth on his phone
So while i'm making our horse-radish sauce, i ask Corey to please switch over the sour cream and refill it. he tells me, "that's your job." and walks off. I tell Daphne what's going on, she talks to him, and he straight up ignores her.
so, later on, i'm fixing the sour cream, i ask him to please fix us a backup ranch and thousand island, as we needed backups of that. he ignores me. i write him a note. he ignores it.
Our hostess, (She'll be called Alice.) comes in, I give alice a run, as does Daphne. Alice proceeds to tell Daphne, THE MANAGER, that she was wrong in telling Corey he had to help-
Mind you Alice isn't a manager, she's a waitress/hostess.
I talk to alice one on one while cleaning up tables, and she tells me, "You shouldn't have wrote him that note, you would be pissed if someone left you a note of stuff to do." I looked at her, like she was stupid, cuz she is stupid, and i tell her, "no, i would go: oh cool, a to-do list. and do the sh1t on the list." which irritated Alice, for whatever reason.
Corey, the rest of the night was fine-ish i guess?? but like, he didn't listen whenever i told him to do something that **needed** to be done, which was *his job*.
Ex. I told him he could go ahead and start pulling our coolers down and taking them downstairs, since he had time before his table's food came out, he tells me "I'll do it after my table gets their food." which was FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER!!!!!

then at the end of the night, I HAD TO SHOW HIM HOW TO DO THE REGISTER.... He's been here since January....

So basically, i just did my stuff, and left Corey high and dry, cuz he's worked here long enough that HE SHOULD KNOW BY NOW.

TL;DR : I asked Corey to do some work to help me out, since he was *literally* not doing anything, and he got upset over being asked to do his job??? and the hostess told the manager that she [manager] was wrong for telling Corey to do his job...
