(TRIGGER WARNING) I (27F) recently got cheated on by my ex (23/m) of two years. The events I experienced during that time were absolutely horrific and insane. I will try to go into as much detail as I possibly can without it being so specific that they will instantly know.. in the odd event they were to see my post.. even though they know I could and told them I would. So for starters. Me and him met at work and hit it off really well and everything was going okay.. within about a month or so of us seeing each other I met his family.. they took me in as if I was their own. I guess i should mention there was a few red flags from this point on .. the floors were tile and cracked beyond repair .. and soiled. so I ignored it because I really liked this guy. Then came time for me to meet some of their animals.. there was one dog that caught my attention immediately, poor thing could barely walk, looked like it hadn’t had a bath in years .. and had a MASSIVE tumor that had been neglected for so long that was impairing his ability to walk. They had a few other dogs at the time. I quickly learned that they could not afford to take the animals to the vet. They also had several felines let’s just say already above the local law limit which then tripled in amount by the time I left. So flash forward to last year .. we were both financially stable enough to go in to buy a semi-reliable first vehicle (for him) together .. I co-signed for it. So the week after he gets this vehicle.. i found out he was talking to another woman, who said they had been talking for a few years, but lived out of state and was pregnant.. but it wasn’t his kid as he had no way of getting to this state due to not having a reliable source of transportation to get that far. So i confronted her .. and she said he told her I was an ex and wouldn’t go… so that weekend after me and him had been fighting he went over to his friends house which we will call Benjamin, and i found out that there was a girl over there every time he went over there .. we broke up for a month or so and he came crawling back like a little baby .. so of course i was dumb enough to go back.. soo we were all happy again and then he wrecked his new vehicle, looses his job ( not related to the accident) and then refused to get a new one .. i moved in with him to try to be there for him. Soo needless to say the truck is getting repossessed bc I can’t afford the just shy of $1000 payment either.. So a few months ago he started hanging out with that same friend again. And I found out he had plans to take him to go see another girl in a neighboring state.. so I flipped out on him.. and then tried to make up for it later, just to get thrown into the wall and kicked in the stomach, which was the first time he laid hands on me .. so I left .. and now he’s with another girl and actually went out of state to see her .. undoubtedly leaving the dogs behind but… the monkey wrench in this all is I have dreams of opening an animal shelter.. and if they later get outed and it gets out that I didn’t report this then my business would go down .. but like there’s more than just that that happened, but I’ve done said enough.. the main charges in question are animal abuse/ neglect, domestic abuse for him, house condemnation, idk if I could get him for hiding a vehicle from the cops or not but .. idk there’s so much I could say in this post that I can’t say without making it soooooo obvious that i could face whiplash for it .. but I don’t think they would say anything to make me mad enough to give the go ahead to get authorities involved but I need to so WIBTA
