I work as an IT helpdesk and often back on forth between different sites. Most days I'm in one of the company's smaller branches. Because it's a smaller office, the only "IT guy" available.

When I'm there, I have box office by myself because for security, the spare equipment has to be under lock. People would generally knocks or ping me on Teams if they have an issue, which suits me as I'm more introvert and like to keep to myself.

At work today, I got a knock on my office door. At first I thought it was someone asking for IT support. It turned out to be a man and woman from HR with a sack of Easter Eggs to give out to people to build up moral.

I just said "Sorry, I can't eat chocolate", they said "oh okay" then they awkwardly walked away.

AITAH for awkwardly declining a gift from HR at work?
