So I have been dating my bf for the past 1.5 years and everything was okay until he decided to start a new venture and lost a lot of money. For background- I am the sole earner for my family and I have seen poverty up close, so I am very anxious when it comes to money matters. This did not stop me from helping my partner when he needed help and asked me to help him by taking out some loans from mobile credit apps. Now the thing with these apps is it charges lot of interest and missing even one payment can lead to catastrophic results. Anyway, this was not the issue. The issue began when he stopped paying the interest for half the EMIs on these loans and more than half of the burden fell on my shoulders. His job is good but it does not have fixed salary so he has some months where he earns less money and some where he earns more (more like a seasonal job). He had promised to clear out all loans during the months he earned more money BUT he could not due to circumstances (one thing or the other happened- I cannot go into details or it will take me days to type lol). Now the issue is that I do not have ANY savings at all. All my money goes paying EMI for the loans HE took in my name. This is making me so stressed and anxious that when the month is approaching its end ALL I can think of is how all my hard earned money will go paying EMI. I am so frustrated and I have even started resenting him a lot because of this. I know he is trying his best BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH. Any advice on what I can do? I am lost here.
