For starters, I (F20) and (M26) we have been together (or was) for 6 months prior to this. We fell in love did everything right away because we both felt like we had “found the one of our dreams” fast forward when we came back from a trip. Things started going downhill with fights, us arguing, and talking about separating. It wasn’t easy but after a little scare of us actually not being together we finally got our act together and started treating and going back to the way we were. Everything was good, or so I thought. I went thru his phone this morning to see messages of him texting a girl in specific something about them meeting up.

I of course wake him up and spazz out. Only for him not to say sorry, ask me why I went thru his phone, and we both threw each others phones but mine actually resulted in $350 worth of damages. Now he’s texting me that one mistake shouldn’t change our relationship and if I can he wants to give me clarity, and pay for my phone and that he’s not a pos. This sucks so much for me bc I could cheat if i wanted to. He has no car, no place of his own, and no life long term goals. Which I have all 2 cars, my own spot, and my job and other goals etc. and never once would I have done something like that to hurt him. He also left my door wide open so my kittens could leave my house. So I just can’t help but beating myself up because I feel like I did everything right and still ended up looking and feeling stupid.
