Context, (24F) been dating a guy (30M) for six months. We had a rough patch. He told me he likes “Kevin Samuels”, and other folks in the manosphere and well, let’s just say they are not good people. I tried to explain these kinds of people are not good people. We got into it over that kind of content. He would say things like “women lose value after 25”. He has made comments like “women are born with value while men need to earn it”. He would just make generalizations about women. I tried to help him understand those things isn’t true and toxic platform like that does no favors. I thought after these talks there was an understanding. However he shared a video where a man says “woman loses their value after 25”. I got really upset and I admit I went off. I did apologize because maybe I didn’t handle those things too well. Now it been a whole say and he only messaged me once. Was I overreacting? AITAH?
