My gf has a friend, let's call them N.

N has been my gf's friend for years, longer than I have known her.

N has publicly disliked me. N does not want to get along with me. This was never an issue for me until now. Well, maybe not exactly. My gf has never really stood up for me, even when N was clearly just being mean to me for no reason.

My gf and I were gonna get ready to go out, she texted some friends, both hers and mine, and I heard her say "oh" I asked her what was wrong. She asked if she could go alone. I asked her why, and she told me N was gonna be there and she didn't want any drama.

I asked her if she's seriously asking me to stay home so I don't upset N. She said she was sorry, but N has been such a big part of her life.

I was really hurt by this, and honestly, it was the last straw. I told her that she and N can fuck right off, and that we were done.

I feel a bit conflicted cuz I had never talked to her that way.
