I (25f) have been sick with a cold this week and still been coming to work. I received an email from my supervisor about workplace etiquette and that blowing my nose too loudly was “off putting” and more than one employee had noticed it. And that I need to leave the room every time I needed to blow my nose. When I told her I was sick which I have no control over but I would be happy to work from home if that made everyone more comfortable. She told me I was okay to work my office but to still leave the room. So now, every couple minutes I have leave my desk to blow my nose. AITAH if I stop leaving the room?
