📝 AITAH for declining to do a service for charity because of my own needs?

I recently participated in a great charity which helps little kids with disabilities play different sports. I love this charity and have participated many times before, but on this certain day we were helping kids play soccer.

This charity runs for about 3 ish hours and we were about 2:30 mins in the chairty when it became the time to help children in wheelchairs play soccer. Now obviously these kids need to be pushed around to they would ask for volunteers to push them

I had a soccer match coming up and pushing the wheelchairs are a very tiring task so this was the only activity I decided to sit out on the whole day. Keep in mind there are about 30 volunteers and only 8 kids to push so many people sit out.

About half way in one of the lady's points at me to push one of the kids and I politely decline and when she asks why I state because of my soccer match later. She take me to the side and begins to chew me out and kicks me out for the day saying I am being selfish and not helping the kids.

She later writes a letter to my Charity organization about kids in my organization not participating in the chairty citing my name directly.

Am I the asshole for declining to push the kid in the wheelchair?
