📝 AITAH For Dropping Names Of People Of Who Blocked Me To Get More Info On Why?

Around 4 days ago I had found out that two people I considered friends or at the very least acquaintances had blocked me. I tried to reach out to them and ask for clarification on why that had done that, but got no response. I was essentially ghosted.

Yesterday, after some time had passed without any response, I brought it up to some friends in a group I was in. I wanted to know if they had heard anything to try and get more information that could help lead to a possible resolution to the issue. I didn’t plan on telling them who had blocked me, but 2 of them asked me so they could get a better understanding of the situation and give adequate advice, so I obliged, thinking it could help.

Multiple people in that group had done the same thing in regard to name dropping. Some of them made jokes about suicide, some of them constantly talked about personal drama, and some of them were just not very nice people in general. All of that made me believe that saying who I was talking about would be acceptable, but it apparently wasn’t.

1 or 2 of the people that were part of the conversation felt uncomfortable about it and brought it up to the owner of the server. Even though I had a clean slate and this was my first “problematic” incident, I was promptly banned from the group by the owner and ghosted by everyone in it. I lost multiple people I cared about and considered friends all because I wanted to get more information on why I was blocked by somebody.

Am I the asshole?

EDIT: Added some more context
