For a bit of context, my boyfriend and I have been dating for at least 4 years. He always turns me down when I want to be intimate; yet, when he talks about gay men, he seems to have some sort of buried hatred. And he has such out of pocket, rude things to say. not quite sure if this is insecurities or just prejudice, but as a bisexual woman, a lot of the things he says on this topic bother me to the core, and the fact that he always turns me down (even in lingerie) makes me think that his homophobic comments and past trauma have lead him to a place of potential self-hatred. Am I overreacting??
