šŸ“ AITAH for finally snapping over my mom treating my car like her personal Uber?

I’m 20, working two part-time jobs, one at a diner, one at a gas station and last summer I saved up every spare dime to buy my beat-up sedan. It’s a scratched-up 2009 Toyota with a wonky AC, but it’s freedom for me to get to work and back.

My mom’s car has been ā€˜in the shop’ for three months now,she claims it’s a busted radiator, but she hasn’t even called the mechanic in weeks. Instead, she’s turned my car into her personal taxi. She’ll grab my keys off the counter without asking, disappearing for hours to run errands, hit the grocery store, or even visit her bingo buddies across town.

I’ve been left scrambling, missing shifts or begging rides from coworkers, and I’m on thin ice with both bosses now.

Yesterday was the breaking point... I was about to head to my diner shift when I saw my car was gone—again. She rolled in 30 minutes later, parked it crooked, tank on empty, with burger wrappers and a spilled soda staining the seat. I had to Uber to work, lost half my shift’s pay, and I was done

I told her she’s not taking it anymore unless she asks first and respects it. She blew up, called me selfish and ungrateful, said ā€˜family helps family,’ and guilt tripped me about how she raised me single-handedly. I get she’s stressed, but I’m drowning too... I need that car to keep my jobs and pay my bills, our bills... AITAH?
