So i(21F) have been dating my bf(25M) for about a year now, and things haven't been so rosy for him. As his gf i offer to help me get certain things done especially financially but he actively refuses, at first i thought it was because we just started dating. But that did not change. Fast forward to today, we said to meet at a restaurant, i got there before him and waited, i was hungry so i ordered my food and at the same time texted him to ask him what he would have when he got here, he didn't respond. He arrived at the restaurant and by then my food was ready, i asked him again what he wanted and he said nothing, We discussed for a while and i went over to the counter and ordered some food for him to take home. As we were about to leave i handed him the bag containing his food only for me to get a very painful response, he said 'did you buy the food for the waiters?' God i was taken aback, he didn't recieve the bag and we went outside and then i stopped talking and my mood was riuned. Funny thing was he acted like everything was fine, and asked me what was wrong and i said nothing. we stood there waiting for my uber to arrive, he was talking to me but i stopped responding because i was super pissed. Next thing he said was 'should i leave?' and i said you can go while expecting him to give me a reason for rejecting the food, i was embarrassed, but he didn't rather he immediately left, took a cab and went home.

I got home after waiting for almost 10 mins for my uber to arrive in the cold. He didn't text, no calls, nothing. I've decided that i'm not going to call him or speak to him till he explains himself. Because my entire mood was ruined.

PS: I paid for everything, I'm the type of girl who offers help to whoever it is i'm with so long as it is in my power.
