My friend (M23) and I were sitting at his place when he started talking about politics. I fucking hate politics. Despise them.

He was talking about how Trump is too unpopular among the general public and that Democrats will take the next election. I told him Trump's little lapdogs will rig it.
Dude went crazy. Said both parties cheat, lie, steal, told me to do more research, that both parties step on the general public, and also called me delusional.
He called me delusional for telling the truth??? I told him that he was in denial and that he'll try to repeal the 22nd Amendment
He stopped talking for a bit. He texted me later that night that I'm an asshole who doesn't know shit about politics.

Am I, in-fact the asshole?
