đź“ť AITAH for hating my school

This is my first time having a Reddit account. I'm actually 16 (M), and I need a place to call out my old school without facing any consequences from them.

I used to go to this school when I was 12 or 13, so I was in 7th or 8th grade. I went to school as much as I could, but sometimes, I just didn’t want to go. That doesn’t mean I was a bad kid—every kid skips now and then. But one teacher always treated me like I was a troublemaker for no reason. Her first name was Angel (I won’t say her last name), and I used to go to a school in Oklahoma in a small town that sounds like "Elmo."

Anyway, I used to pop and rub my friends' backs, and sometimes I’d make $20 or even $30 from it. But Angel would constantly make inappropriate comments like, “Are you gay?” or “Do you want to have relations with him?” She said things like that every day.

That was just the start of everything.

Fast forward to 8th grade, second semester, when I was 13. My friends and I were talking during 1st hour about random, dumb stuff—like how I was supposedly going on a date that night (I wasn’t, I just wanted attention, not goanna lie) or how I needed a new vape but didn’t have the money for one. None of my friends even vaped, so it was just talk.

Later that day, my friend—let’s call him Jack—came up to me at lunch and said he lost his phone. I tried to help him find it but had no luck, so I went to eat. During recess, I saw his phone under one of the tables, so I grabbed it and gave it back to him. Then he told me there was money in the phone case. I hadn’t seen any money when I picked it up, and even if I had, why would I steal from my own friend? Like, wtf. I get why he was upset, but still.

The next day, I got pulled into the office—maybe because they thought I was trying to sell a vape? I don’t fully remember. But then that same teacher, Angel, said, “I mean, it’s a little weird that you just came to school today with that many drinks and snacks on you.” Acting like I didn’t bring drinks and snacks the day before!

Like, what?! I literally had a job that made more in an hour than she made in a week (still do, by the way). She just pissed me off so much. Honestly, I hope she sees this.

And one more thing—if you don’t like kids, don’t be a teacher. I didn’t choose to go to that school. So just because you’re miserable, ugly as hell, and no one likes you—not even the other teachers—doesn’t mean you should take it out on us.

What is wrong with you?

I’ll be posting another story in a few minutes.
