They are both work colleagues, they get on well. They like hanging out together with another work colleague. They text outside of work. She sends him selfies often with no real context, he doesn’t send her any selfies. I could go on… I’m adamant she likes him, he says she’s just friendly. He went out on a work event and then he ended up in a club, I then saw on his phone the next day that he had text her asking her to come join him at the club.

I felt extra salty because I was also out in town with a friend that evening and was texting him whilst he was texting her asking her to come. Felt a bit gutted that he didn’t invite me.

He insists it’s not that deep, it was just a work thing and that he wouldn’t want me to come. He also says when he invited her, he wasn’t really inviting her, it was more of a boast to her that he was at the club rather than an actual invite, although the text read “come said club”.
