Hi I’m using a throw away account incase anyone I know sees this, I (17f) and my ex boyfriend (18M) got into a argument the other day, because I hooked up with his best friend, I was with my boyfriend for 2 years but we had a mutual friend (18M) I’ll call him jack. I’ve known jack for years Atleast 6 years. Me and jack have always had a thing for eachother but nothing ever happened between us. I will admit that he did try to make multiple moves on me in the last I’d say 4 years I never did anything, 2 years ago I got with my ex I had only known him for a month before I got with him. When I got with my ex jack immediately stopped (but did try a few times when I was in a relationship with my ex but I shut it down) mind he met my ex a few months after me and my ex got together because a friend group was made and we were all in it. Skip to now mine and my ex’s relationship was very toxic and turning abusive I got out before it got too far. I broke up with him two weeks ago and I called jack (he has been there for me through everything) then one thing led to another and we hooked up. My ex found out about it because jack got drunk the other night and kept bragging about it. (Because he had been waiting 4 years) someone he told, told my ex and he phoned me having ago. I get that I hooked up with jack less than a day after we broke up but my ex cheated on me 3 times and I just wanted to feel confident again. I do not regret it at all but I don’t think I’m the asshole because my ex should be angry at his friend for making moves on me i know I shouldn’t have done it. But jack started saying he loved me and wanted to be with me and how he’s been waiting for me and my ex to break up. I’ve been single for two weeks I don’t want to get into a relationship but I want to keep hooking up with him PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE
