So I’m in a band and everyone has social anxiety except me, so naturally I’m the one who goes around looking for band members and is comfortable going up to people, today someone texted me about the band, they said they want to join and I said sure after I asked them some bass line questions and after they answered I said thank u for reaching out I’ll discuss with the band and get back to u, so I send a screenshot to the band group chat and one of the members jumps at me that I should chill and slow down and that I’m an asshole and I don’t have the right to agree to stuff without them, mind u all I did was ask baseline questions like age and where they live and how available they are that’s it and I specifically told them I will discuss with the band and reach back so I didn’t agree to anything, and after that band mate crashed out on me I told them, that’s literally what I’m doing rn discussing with the band I didn’t agree to anything, but they kept repeating themselves and they are offended, so I explained myself again but no use, at the end I said they can look for people themselves if they don’t want me doing it like I said the only reason I was doing it is cuz I’m the only one without social anxiety
