so for context, i’m 20F and my bf is 21M. i never really had a close relationship with my mom but him and his mom are very close which i have no problem with, that’s obviously good, but ive noticed that whenever he’s with me his mom is constantly texting him. whenever we’re out at the movies, at dinner, anywhere really, she always texting him to the point where he texts her back while driving sometimes. one morning we woke up and she had texted him “no good morning?” (i guess he always texts her goodmorning and goodnight). sometimes i feel as if it’s a little overbearing. i understand he’s your son and yall are close but i do believe it’s gets to a point where she should understand that he is a grown man and has his own life. sometimes i feel bad about feeling that way tho because as i stated before im not really close with my mother so maybe i just dont understand. any tips on how to bring this up to him lightly ?
