I feel like a jerk. my bf and my parents constantly berate me saying that i’m not driven enough to get into the best schools. Honestly, they’re probably right, but irregardless i wasn’t gonna take that disrespect. I thought they were gonna be chill about it, but today they surprised me in my room with balloons and columbia merch. I think I accidentally told them I got in, I meant to say I applied. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? At this point I might say fuck it and settle for harvard. Pray for me! ✝️
